65-67. 60 at night while in bed. I usually wear comfy socks, sweats/warm pants and a blanket hoodie thing but I like being comfy and cozy whereas my husband's in shorts.

I will also add that I reluctantly went to vip because I can’t find a decent mechanic in my area that isn’t booked for months out. I’m a carpenter not a mechanic although since I bought my truck I have been trying to do any work I can on my own. Recently blew a bunch of discs in my back and haven’t been able to do a whole lot. I really just needed my truck to be sound. If anyone has any suggestions for the Gardiner/Augusta area I’d appreciate it.

They also ripped me off last week. Tested my battery for free. Said the battery was fine but my starter failed, so I made an appointment to get it replaced. Brought the truck in. They call me 15 minutes later saying my battery wasn’t providing enough charge in order for them to run a full diagnostic on my starter and alternator. Told em to do what they had to do…I kind of laughed and knew where it was going but my truck was already in their garage. and I also thought my starter was gone because it had supposedly failed their test. All in all starter was fine. Charged me 375 bucks.

We keep our room/upstairs at 66 at all times, and 70 downstairs via heat pumps. When it’s super cold we switch to oil and keep it at 66 everywhere. I’ve always lived in VT/ME, yes I should be used to the cold, but I refuse to freeze in my own house as long as I’m financially comfortable, damn it!

Thermo set to 50, but pellet stove keeps the main area around 60-65. Bedroom is generally around 50-55, but I like it cool when sleeping (and I have two cats to use as heaters haha). I usually just layer with double sweatshirts around the house. A lot cheaper that way.
