I was in need of a therapist in the height of the pandemic. I too called literally every single number I could find. I also scheduled several over the web with anyone in the country. It took me 9 months to find someone. It was a rough time.

Ah damn, I found my therapist through it and so did my wife. Was hoping to give you the same luck.

My doctor recommended this website to me actually. I called tons of people on that list and none were taking new patients even if it said they were on the page. It's poorly updated

I'm really happy with teledoc. I know you said in person, but I found it nearly impossible in Maine. I'm also one of those icky people from away, so my telehealth practitioner is licensed in both states.

Also reach out to Maine Behavioral Healthcare. I've been using them for my meds, and I find them really kind, and make it easy. I know it's not simple to reach out like this, it took a lot to do. I'm proud of you.

Work with your landlords people.

A lot of folks have taken the I'm not paying back rents, or even communicating with my landlord on back rents, stance and now all the covid protections are gone.

Downvote this all you want, but the folks that are getting evicted are, by and large, folks who basically have just taken all the covid money, heating oil money, covid protects, and assumed those programs would be renewed in perpetuity, while making no/minimal effort to make the landlord, according to lease, whole.

A lot of landlords are mom and pop folks who have put a lot of sweat equity into their properties and are staring down a barrel of banks coming for their nest egg. The Maine real estate market has a lot of institutional buying pressure on it right now.

If you think a multi-state management company, or bank is going to be a better, more understanding, landlord you might as well start packing boxes now.

I don't know a single mom and pop landlord who relishes in evicting. Banks who get a multifamily on default, or hedge funds who buy that bank out of a portfolio? They are all about an ROI, points above reinvestment risk, and give zero fucks; They will see you out with the backing of a robust legal team.

If you are behind on rents talk honestly with your landlord and come up with a plan, or don't, and understand you have made your decision with eviction the result.

Graduated from UMaine CS department (as the flagship they don’t like being called UMO) and I know people that went to UMF for various degrees. I would definitely recommend UM over UMF for comp sci.

My mom kept ours at 62 MAX and if you even thought about touching it you should probably just die now. Now that I have a house I keep mine at 65 and still feel like I’m going to get in trouble haha
