Medical can't be in too high of demand, everywhere is paying way fucking less than anywhere around where I currently am (similar cost of living when not looking around Portland). The reviews for health systems by employees are also terrible. So paycut + shittier work environment doesn't seem like a leap I want to take. Hell my mom moved back to Maine to be closer to family, but the hospital she worked at was so backasswards she moved back south after like 6 months.
