When you fill out the sales tax paperwork there is an "allowance for trade" and according to the town hall people you can do this with private parties, not just dealers.

I would just do bills of sale for $500 for each thing, for simplicity. Or you can do the $500 BOS but also do a more elaborate one describing the trades, and if they reject the elaborate one, go with the normal one.

You need a bill of sale to pay taxes on and register the boat. The person getting the car needs one for the same purpose. You need a copy of the car's bill of sale to prove, if you ever needed to, that you sold that car on a certain date (before some dude you never met before and found on FB or CL drives it drunk into a pedestrian and drives away). He might ask for a copy of the boat's bill of sale for the same purpose. Helps to have a home printer scanner but you can just write out two copies and sign them both, or take pictures with a phone or digital camera (which is helpful because it will have date/time data to go with the picture).

The article:

The “incredibly rare” and highly anticipated Steller’s sea eagle has returned to Maine, according to Maine Audubon.

It was found at 12:45 p.m. Saturday along the Back River, spotted by Stacy Hildreth from the Route 127 bridge between Arrowsic and Georgetown, staff naturalist Doug Hitchcox reported on Maine Audubon’s website.

“We’ve waited, we’ve debated, and now we know: The Steller’s Sea-Eagle is back!” Hitchcox wrote of the vagabond bird that has captured the attention of avid birders and others around the globe.

Hitchcox recalled the “amazing saga” of how the “incredibly rare eagle from Eastern Siberia” moved across North America in 2021, then spent the winter from Dec. 30, 2021, through March 5, 2022, around Midcoast Maine.

Then it moved north, Hitchcox said, spending the summer of 2022 in Newfoundland before wandering south in the fall.

The last sighting had been in northeast New Brunswick in November.

Hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha This won’t do anything to the ticks. They are pretty much indestructible. You can put a tick in your freezer and pull it out after a few weeks and it will be ok.
