If you’re not tapped in to the internet all the time, easy enough to let it pass you by. I don’t have any TV services and am relatively mainstream-social media averse, and would probably have made it this far without finding out about the relief checks if I didn’t have the social circle I do.
Kudos for somehow avoiding the partisanship arguments and every other argument over these from folks in your community, I wish I were you!

Cape is not as rich as you might think. A small subset skews the data. The average income is only 6K above Cumberland county average. Figuring there are a bunch of multi millionaires on Shore Road that skew upwards the average my guess is most of the town is just average.
