When they first opened, I took a look and saw an interior apartment with no windows. I still don’t know how it’s legal as there was only one door but they definitely have them.
I looked around real quick and noped right out. The larger apartments seemed nice but they were pricey. They’re probably horrific now.

By code, don’t “bedrooms” require a window

I checked out an apartment that had no windows there. For the price they’re charging a window isn’t negotiable.

I have a friend that has a unit with no windows, it can be find for some people but it is rather depressing, cold, and dark for most

I haven't lived there but I've worked for a company there. Parking can be a nightmare during the work day at least.

Classic is my go to for Appetizers, Tandoori, and Biryani, but imo Annapurna on Hanover St. has better Curries, Naan, and Momos.

It's newer than that.

I want to second Daw Kun. Great Thai food and very hot if you order it that way.

The new location is nice. Same vibe but brighter and cleaner location

Did this happen to be the place that closed down as Covid started?

Thanks! Chophouse was on our list to call and see if they’re open. Always had good meals there. Didn’t realize Gauchos was still open tbh, I’ll add that to the list!

My partner and I went for his birthday and got two overcooked steaks, which we sent back and got two more overcooked steaks. Hope their turkey is better.

I've had great Thanksgiving meals at Gauchos (not traditional) and Hanover St Chophouse, for what it's worth.

I live by SNHU and I’d recommend Puritan Backroom. Get chicken tenders and a mudslide. Chicken tenders were invented by that restaurant.

My favorite Indian in town, but I will say if you go to Taj India and tell them “no, like Indian hot for real” they’ll make you pay for it.
ETA: still have a little leftover biryani in the fridge from yesterday from Classic. It’s so good.

I haven't tried them since they moved. How's the new location?

Ahh I forgot about Daw Kun! They will melt your face off if you like. 😂

In Manchester, try Daw Kun Thai, ask for "Thai Hot"
Even spicier is Ubon Thai 2 Go (Pinardville)

Recently had Golden Karma’s food and after having some not-so-spicy Chinese, it definitely ticked the “actually hot” box.

Really surprised to hear that. I frequent the BVI enough that they know my by sight and I can’t recall ever having a bad experience there.

Bedford Village Inn does a big Thanksgiving…choices of entrees.

Its not in Manchester, but India Palace in Nashua makes some really tasty, really spicy stuff if you order it that way. Taj India on Elm does similar but not as spicy I've noticed.

I don't think so, but having a bedroom with no windows was the best part of living there. Complete darkness, even in the middle of the day. I was working night shift so it was perfect.
That said, we lived in the main building and our living room had a huge floor to ceiling window, so plenty of light.
Was also freezing cold through that exterior brick/glass wall with NO insulation.
Great location but management was awful. 5/10
