Great flavor

Golden rod will always have a special place in my heart. I'd also shout out the Ben & Jerries store on Elm for their non-dairy flavors (really great if you're lactose intolerant or just not in the mood to pretend you aren't).

I lived at CV for five years (2007-2012); we ultimately moved out because we bought our first house, and living there was economical for us at the time to stash money for our down payment. We paid around $975/month for a 2-bed, 1-bath third-floor corner unit.
Experience living there was fine. It got the job done. We had some noisy neighbors for a couple of years and there was a squirrel problem in the attic, but other than that it was, like I said, fine.

Oof I’m sorry to hear that. My problem was simple muscle tension from being stressed out af so maybe op should only go there for that problem and not anything else.

Obviously everybody has a different experience, but Apple PT wrecked me. I had to call for help to get home. And still charged me $160 cash.

Bedford myoskeletal therapy, trust me
Check out my username. I've been everywhere. Joel at Bedford myoskeletal is the absolute best, and you can schedule your appointments (even the initial consultation) online.

I've lived here since 2020 and it's overall a good place. It's quiet, clean and well maintained. The location is also really nice since it's close enough to downtown to get there by bike but also far enough outside to be quiet and peaceful. It's also right next to Stark Park which is a great place to go for a walk or hang out on warm evenings. The only thing I can complain about is that they've raised rent by quite a lot each year. In two years it went from $1450 to $1950 for a 2-bedroom and I'm expecting another jump this year.

Apple PT in downtown Manchester will see you without a referral. They got me in only two days after I called. Huge help.

I’ve lived here since 2021. It’s quiet, the rent is alright for a 2 bedroom but it will go up every year that you re-new your lease. No one really bothers you, just make sure to always keep your doors locked. Regardless though it’s a decent place and it’s in a convenient location. Good luck!

Your Dr should be able to get you a reference to a PT, and that might let insurance cover it. Hope that helps :)

I lived there for three years. I moved out in 2020. I had no issues with management or maintenance during my time there. If something needed repairs they were quick at showing up and fixing the problem. Management was very professional. They always notified at least 24 hours before entering my apartment. I would probably still live there if I didn't move in with my gf. Oh yeah, you need a parking permit to park in the parking lot. I'm pretty sure each apartment gets two permits. They also have a couple of pools and a gym. Let me know if you have any questions I might be able to answer for you.

Nope. I've met a few people who come through Victoria street on the north side to access the river, but they generally keep to themselves. The one issue i've seen is SWAT coming every now and then due to a drugs and guns situation, but when this happens the police keep it contained and are gone within an hour or two. I don't even notice unless I head outside.
The residents are a mix of students, older people, working professionals, and immigrants/refugees.

Thank you for your reply! I saw some people on Google Reviews saying that there's a lot of non-residents who walk through, is this your experience? Have you had any issues with that? Also, thanks for the smoking heads up ;)

I've lived at Colonial Village since April. It's a well-managed mid-tier complex. Units are older and there are a lot of cheaper fixtures in the apartments, but its functional and gets the job done at least. Maintenance is quick and they do a good job plowing the snow. Hallways are vacuumed and cleaned at least once a week and the neighborhood is relatively quiet and safe. The location is great as you're a quick bike ride or under a 5-minute drive to downtown. I think if you're looking to still be connected to the city grid without being in the dense center it's a good middle ground.
Keep in mind there is no smoking allowed within 100 feet of the building. People don't always follow it, but the leasing office posts memos on the entrance doors when they find people doing it. I've also had minor issues with the office regarding lease renewals where I clearly asked for a month-to-month in writing and they sent me a 12-month lease without any context. Took a few weeks to resolve and get the correct one sent over. Overall though I've lived in far worse places and it's a good place to live.
