Got a good friend to build a custom keyboard 7 months ago. Started noticing some indents on my keycaps a few months in and thought it was due to the quality of the keycaps (Geekark BoW) that he used. Turns out, I'm just a monster and this isn't normal. Got told to post it on here just so the kind people of the internet can roast me. I accept my fate.
[EDIT] I don't have acrylic nails, I do paint my nails all the time with normal nail polish (mostly to stop myself from chewing them), my nails are almond shaped (Google it!) so they're not exactly super sharp.
