Yes, and it's also probably stiffer. Used to have carpal tunnel like symptoms until I moved to 5mm soft padding and don't want to give up on that. 4mm is already quite close, but would have given it a shot ;)

Honestly, availability & price. I was able to find a good deal on mech market and that's kinda how it all snowballed into being finished!
Pleasently suprised on how the sound turned out as well with a little bit of PE foam

I used to have a snowball mic. It was annoying to have to put it in front of the keyboard. Your solution of breaking your keyboard in half to go around it is a clever one. Kudos.

We have lots of them in Finland. Fractal is a Swedish company, so I guess it’s easy for Finnish retailers to get their hands on them. I can order one, and get it pretty much the next day.

The colour was much more vibrant in the show but Netflix doesn’t allow screenshots so this was the best I could get unfortunately. I also couldn’t find any official product page, might be a custom made…
