That's the fun, then other passengers will tell their coworkers they're meeting or family members at home about the strange dude on the plane cooking drugs (or whatever explanation they create).
Also if you're an early boarding group on Southwest and whip this out you probably have a much lower chance of someone sitting next to you.

Classic Magic on a beautiful blue Petrichor.
With this set I am celebrating the classic look of Magic: The Gathering. These caps use the same uncial typeface that was used on early MTG packs. The colors are inspired by the back of Magic cards.

Not sure its kosher to type kill with a picture in an airplane... Nothing worse than flying and then on top of that lubing and filming some switches hahaha! Lovee this.

Hey at least it's fixable and they offered to fix it! MODE sent me a scuffed 65 with a mirror finished bottom with the metal bumped out on it (as if the CNC machine pushed too far in when making the screw ports for the daughter board) and then blamed me for it and said buy another one lmao. Will never buy from them again. NK are good people. Sorry homie!

Yeah, sorry OP but seems like a user error all the way. No vendor is without error but I've had nothing but great experiences with NovelKeys and appreciate them being responsive here as well.

I feel you! I swear that purple wasn't my fav color, but man keyboard with purple color hits different! I initially didn't want to order the mecha-01 for the space65 since my frog tkl is already purple, but can't resist hahahaha

People calling you brave because of springs and small parts falling from the table, I call you brave because of random Karens calling flight crew to check that you're not building a bomb.
Because it happened to me, a local flight here in the Philippines to a tourist spot (Boracay), funny thing is, it was the standard tourist version of a Karen from the US. Lmao

Just plug it in and use a pair of tweezers to link the sockets. When they’re good to go, the press will register on whatever software you’re using.

Actually, the initial plate that came with the board was faulty. It was too tight, it ruined my switch. KC customer service is super nice tho, emailed them and they sort it out for me pretty quick.

It appears the issue has been sorted. For the full vendor response, see below:
As others in the thread recommended, you should still inspect your PCB before assembly and test the functionality before soldering or installing switches in case you get a defect, however, hotswap sockets, which convenient, can be damaged if the switch pins are not straight.

Seems like OP damaged the board during switch install. Which hey, accidents happen. But own up to it, don't try and slander a company because you caused the issue and don't want to pay for a replacement, or tell someone who got you a gift you broke it and can't use it.

This absolutely sucks im sorry you have to go through this. After going through many hot swap boards i have only had issues with cheap aliexpress PCBs. In the end all i had to do was solder the pads since they either had very minimal solder or sometimes none on a pad at all which it sounds like you had. If you want id be more than happy to fix that for free. DM me.

But that means you have to solder an Arduino or whatever to it first
