That question has been addressed well by other commenters, above; apparently it's a German standard. I noticed it wasn't QWERTY only after you'd asked and I'd zoomed in on the image. The clues to its typographic nature were a little easier to make out -- e.g., the alignment controls along the upper row, and the power-of-two fractions in the foreground, etc. Bethold machines could produce some very high-quality output, though I was was never a big fan of using them.

You mean limited in programming. They use NuPhy software for programming, not as powerful as QMK but better than Keychron K series with nothing. Therefore Halo series is better than Keychron in that matter.

Customisation is limited with Air series (low profile again but way better than Keychron low profile - you can use some 3rd party keycaps).

The way this hobby goes is that you keep buying keebs until you learn the truth: there is no such thing as "best one". The goal is to figure out and clearly define your own preferences, needs and ascetics then you will be able to find best fitting one by yourself.

Keychron K - "retail" keyboards with the least to mod, especially the low-profile ones are very limited due to unusual switches and keycaps, not programmable.

Keychron K Pro adds programming to them (QMK),

Keychron S programmable, low profile (limitations) and without bluetooth.

Keychron Q - proper custom keebs with plenty of customization and fully programmable. They are good to start modding and may even become your best. Many people will recommend them.

Keychron V - as above but with ABS plastic case instead of aluminium

Reviews and build guides on YT (from popular creators) are your best source of information but at the end of the day you can only feel the typing by your own hands and every "sound test" sounds different than reality in your room.

I've read that it has some problems with the wireless connection, but I don't know for sure, I have a K7 but that model doesn't have compatibility with QMK (QMK doesn't like wireless) and I never use it wirelessly, for the rest, great keyboards with good quality.

Mostly Keychron with QMK support. It's a firmware that does a lot of things.

Nuphy AFAIK doesn't have QMK compatibility, so you are somewhat limited in customization.

Difference between Keychron series is written on their site on the specs, layout and price, mostly.

I am not sure if you're in the US. The QK65 will have around 600 units as extras for sale on Jan 1. Shipping is going to be expensive tho, around 30usd?

The keychron k series has no customisable keys. Probably only important for the side keys. It's also wireless i believe

The keychron q series has an aluminium case. Will help with sound.

Keychron v series have plastic cases.

Oops my b! Having opened one up and having used quite a few, I'm almost inclined to agree! the boards certainly aren't worth the aftermarket prices but man they are incredible pieces of work.

Any criticism past the recent falling qc is mostly up to personal preference, really!
