Sorry but pretty much all you wrote makes no sense.

  • QMK is an actual base firmware needed to use VIA which is only an GUI interface for QMK. There is no way to use VIA w/o QMK.
  • Keychron got both and again - you can find out this on their website. The only minor inconvenience is that you need to load json file to VIA.
  • KBDFans boards are powered by QMK out of the box (same for all other custom kit vendors). There is no problem downloading firmware for their PCB's. Nothing remotely illegal there.

Seem you got it all wrong.

I may be American, and I may be fat, but I have no idea what that has to do with anything?

Looked through your post history, and you appear to be Eastern European? I may be a fat American but America is the reason you’re not all speaking German.

Also you have shit taste in knives that you can’t even have, lmao.

my touch typing as a “gamer” was characterized by my left hand having best access to the keyboard (being on the keys already) and centered over WASD rather than ESDF. so I typed as much as I could reach with my left hand and used a few fingers from my right hand sparingly.

taught myself how to properly touch type a few years ago though and I very much prefer it. except it took an otholinear keyboard to get the zxc cluster down.
