Not an expert, just working on the relative size to the spacebar and a quart of strong craft beer.

If you want to put the diffuser in, yes, you would need to separate the top from the rest of the case and insert the diffuser. One could always just leave the diffuser out if they wanted to.

Doe this mean you have to take it apart?

The Ajazz Diced Fruit Peach Switches for Linears, and they're Banana Tactiles are what I would recommend. Board looks great! :)

Thank you! I'll message you the links if you like, but here's the build:
Board
NCR-80 TKL ANSI hotswap from YMDKey (went for the 7u spacebar option cos...symmetry, and I need my winkeys)
*note: you'll need to solder the LEDS for the indicator lights on the top right on your own
Switches
Rest of board: Gateron Ink Black v2s (L+F)
Spacebar, Escape: Emogogo Cream 01 Linears (L+F)
Keycaps
Drop x Matt3o Mt3 Susuwatari base kit
Mods
Car noise dampening foam on case bottom
PE foam between the plate and PCB
Tape mod 1 layer on the bottom of the PCB

It shouldn't matter too much. I left mine out of my gmmk pro too.

It's an LED diffuser lol. The gmmk pro has two rgb bars on either side of the case, and these diffusers help the LEDs look nicer.

A wavy piece of plastic.
(I'm guessing a stabilizer for the spacebar)

At the risk of sounding like a clueless wonder, the keycaps you have are really nice. I love the colourway.
