There was this one vendor here complaining about this. He was literally contradicting himself in each sentence complaining about how clones were destroying the hobby but that he wanted new ppl to get into it. Then he complained that the new ppl weren't spending $150 on keycaps, instead, opting for $30 clones. Like, wtf? How many ppl can actually afford to spend $150 on keycaps?

I just recently switched to a Feker Alice80 and it's just about perfect for me. The only thing it was missing was the function key row.

I've used TKL's in the past and have an ergodox that I was using religiously right up until the Feker landed. Can't see ever going back.

Love the color of the case! The keys are a little blue/violet for me but I'm a weird person about matchy-matchy stuff. It looks comfortable!

Yeah I'm curious about this, I've been using laptops for so long that have low profile and nonexistent ergonomics so I'm curious how adjusting between more standard profiles and XDA would be. I just love the look of XDA though.

It's really not obvious. Please explain. Even if you don't like that the subreddit has affordable/budget posts on it, that shouldn't be "ruining the hobby" as a whole, unless you're terminally online and upset that not all users are spending 4 figures on their keyboard

I bought an Alice style board not knowing if I'd like it (KBDFans Maja), but it's great. 10/10 for me. I prefer TKL or 65% layouts, and the 'Alice + arrow keys' layout works perfectly for me.

I have an Alice-style board that I've used as my daily driver for a year-ish, and it's wonderful. The slightly-canted layout makes for a much more natural wrist position, and now I notice that my wrists are awkwardly turned inwards when I use a 'normal' board.

Pair an Alice board with an MX Vertical Mouse from Logitech for ergonomic bliss!
