I sometimes delete a whole sentence and type it again if it contained words that felt nice to type :) I feel sorry for people who don't touch type sometimes... they'll never understand the joy of feeling their fingers autonomously, and smoothly rolling off a set of words with really nice feeling bi and trigrams in it. You just read the word, and your fingers start dancing all on their own as if they're possessed by a completely separate entity.

"Discord Volume Mixer" has no intergration with the dials sadly (hopefully with future updates that changes). However, the plugin "Volume Controller" does and it has the option so set your output / input on the dials as well as the other manual detection features such as Spotify, browser, etc.

Flipping my spacebar on DSA/XDA feels like plugging in a USB cable. It was correct the first time, but I need to flip it at least twice to make it extra correct

On my Stream Deck, I'm using a plugin called "Discord Volume Mixer" which allows me to change volume of individual user. Can you try it and tell me if it works with knobs?

I would also wait until actual color samples are out. Have seen too many sets be so poorly color matched that I'm not willing to shell out money up front for a product sight unseen.

GMK has SIGNIFICANTLY increased their production capacity. GMK Andy said that every set in the queue will finish in September of 2023 and even the "GMK Queue and Estimated Shipping Date" sheet has the last set finishing in Q1 2024. So taking the average of those two sources, it's pretty feasible for this set to ship in a year at most. Sure it's not ideal when we see in-stock sets popping up like crazy, but to not acknowledge that it's improved is just wrong.

Discord has plug-ins with the actual buttons like mute / deafen / etc. just no functionality with the dials.
