Dam that's nice of them !

Never knew they were that involved with the community that's cool !
I really like their stuff and was hesitating to buy from a cheaper manufacturer, now I'm convinced not to ^^.

Coming for a tech background you'd be surprised how 90% of the troubleshooting start and end with cables !

Being on a budget is tough tho, I bought a Keychron V1 Frosted black with Brown switch for 120$, tried the Cablemod "builder" but the cable of my dream is like 40% of the price of the whole keyboard... The Keychron cable better be good haha

There are much better mechanical Mac keyboards, this is just fetishism vs actually ergonomics/usability. It maybe less harmful on MacBook than desktop where a TKL o 60% won't forced you into key combinations, I use my Mac mostly to code I have an TKL Ctrl keyboard even with custom firmware, this is simple irrational.

There are optimal solutions, a 40-60% has a niche among MacBook users (given F-keys aren't often used), but not for desktop Mac, there are N better mechanical keyboards that doesn't compromise productivity or condition user to rely on keys combinations.

IMHO this keyboard lies closer to fetishism than actual ergonomics .

I’m Mexican, we have two “common” spanish layouts “latin american” which is ANSI based and “spanish” which is ISO based; the alt symbols are anoyingly distributed in ISO, I think big enter keys are dumb and is not even necesary to have a localized keyboard, I find it way more comfortable to write in an international US layout to get “eñes” and tildes. ISO is a stupid that just exists cause european countries insist in not using any standard that comes from the US which makes sense sometimes but is just stupid for keyboards

If you have the RGBs soldered, and external VCC on, they are drawing roughly 7-8mAh per LED in standby keeping the communication on.

And as said OLEDs are also a battery killer. With nice!views instead, and no RGB soldered, it’s a whole different story.
