I had one during quarantine when I was working from home. Still some of my favorite clicky keys to this day. Congrats on the great find!

That’s true, but if they claim to care about those kinds of differences but don’t even mention how they’ve never taken apart their switches before I know they’re basically lying out of their damn ass.
The first keyboard things I bought were 68g U4s with TX springs and a switch opener and I didn’t dare call myself an ‘obsessively detailed switch’ person.

You're probably right that it wouldn't be as impactful as it was for me with tangerines, but still... If you care about "infinitesimal" differences then you would notice.

COD warzone *cough cough* (legit quit that game since the aim assist was literally aimbot and everyone was abusing the shit out of that. Never touched the game ever since then.)

Yeah I get it. On the other hand certain games give you some godlike aim assist when using a controller.

Yeah that's why I went "unfair advantage". If platform allows it you can't really blame the player for using it. I'd probably do the same for some games.
This is like the complete opposite of me. I play one PC but i've been using a controller most of the time these pased couple of months xD

Wow, that is awesome. I'm still waiting for the day I find a mechanical keyboard at my local thrift store, and I'd love to find a Razer keyboard since I'm a huge Razer fanboy.

Oh man the infamous Q1 with Knob in gray! I wanted one but they are sold out. Ended up with the Q7 and I’ll get a Pikatea Macropad GB4 instead.

It's a "unfair advantage" against controller players.
Since you can be MUCH more accurate with mouse & keyboard. Though these new consoles just allow it so it's not really "cheating" anymore back on Xbox One and PS4 you had to buy one of those special adapters to be able to use mouse & keyboard.

Reading that put me somewhere in-between loling and being completely speechless. I've only put one very expensive custom keyboard together so I can't even call myself obsessive, but the difference between no lube and lube was night and day for me.
