I really like them! Though, as is the unofficial theme with that build, I got them slightly used on eBay for less than retail. I've heard the MT3 profile is very polarizing: either you love it or hate it. I personally like them since they are a tall profile.

I've also heard to wait a bit until Drop has their BOGO sales. They usually have those a few times a year.

Black coffee usually has a spots of oil from the brew process on the surface. Could be one way of adding that extra "touch." Otherwise overall fantastic render!! I do renders for landscapes and love to see them in other fields...especially ones I've gone into the deep end and spent billions of dollars in. I am both a MTG player of 20 years and mech keyboard hobbyist/enthusiast. RIP wallet.

A couple months ago my tech-nerd dad told me that his old Matias keyboard had died, and that he'd just been using a chiclet board from Apple. Well that wasn't going to stand on my watch, so I took a literal stack of keyboards over to his house and we had a 45-min testing session: Linears (MX Reds, Black Inks, Silent Alpacas, etc) tactiles (Zilents x2, MX Browns), clickies (MX Blues); TKL, 65%, Alice layouts; GMK and PBT keycaps; DSA profile, Cherry profile; etc, etc.

He liked the Zilents a lot, and wanted another full-size board. He chose the Gray aluminum case for the Q6, and wanted Black-on-Gray caps. I'm not a huge fan of the mismatched grays between the caps the case, but it's alright.

logitech is not famous for being very customizable but it's the best thumb trackball on the market imo.
You could replace the switches though if you can solder

I used to sing MT3's praises a lot - low-cost high quality high-profile spherical caps that are in stock? In a variety of colorways? Sign me up! I bought 3 sets.

But after spending more time with MT3, SA, and KAT, I realized the deep scoops and the bottom row of MT3 were really uncomfortable for me and they sounded worse than the other two.

I just transitioned from an MX Vertical to the Ergo, I'm surprised at how well I adapted. Wish it was more customizable, all I've been able to do is replace the gray trackball with a gold one.
