Alas Iām not used to ansi, Iām used to iso. And the missing keys make it awkward to try and use a UK keycap which I want to do as I need to use the Ā£ symbol often enough for it to be a problem.
And I know that you can access the Ā£ symbol on the windowās international keycap but that is annoying for other reasons.
I bought an ansi Q2 and ended up replacing it with an iso board.
I do kinda wish that Mac and windows had an option for a keyboard driver where the symbol/function of every key was entirely defined by the keyboard. So I donāt need to worry about what comes up when I press shift 2, I can define it exactly on the boardā¦

Good point. I guess I can never afford a 40% then, I don't have enough room to fit the majestic aura inside as well. š

The business made the first generation of these back in 2003, it's geared more toward industrial use cases for remote data logging using a built in cellular or satellite modem. Yeah you can do the same kinda stuff with an rpi but our design is built around a specific use-case.

Reply to [Pre-Order Live] - Mode Envoy: 65% Layout, Lattice Block Mounting System, Starting at $189 by modekeyboards
It looks really nice and The new mounting style is tempting. But from the video on the lattice block mount it seems like you only position the PCB and plate on top of the blocks without anything securing the board to fall out of the case if you turn it on its head. Is that right? I have an O-Ring mount board and that is tightly squished into the case. Bit how does it work here?

I'm thinking of buying this board soon, did this require any programming at all or was it 'plug and play'?
