Clearly you knows tons about building keyboards THE HARD WAY (aka soldering diodes). Yeah, it was a very close call but I bet you you will never ever ever make this mistake again. I also bet you will use this as a teaching experience for others on this sub and elsewhere.

I managed to avoid that trap since this board mounts the controller upside-down. But I did end up buying a different controller so I wouldn't have to de-soldered the headers from the first I got

There's nothing wrong with 3D printed keycaps! My keycap is just made using a different method, with resin casting, which I find results in a more durable and vibrant product. Each method has its own unique advantages and I'm always exploring new techniques to create even better keycaps.

Thanks for your interest in my keycap! To answer your question, this keycap is actually handmade using resin. The process involves creating a sculpt, making a silicone mold, and then pouring resin into the mold. It's not a 3D printed keycap that's painted like a lot of others out there. Let me know if you have any other questions!

Thanks for pointing that out. I appreciate your comment and suggestion, and will take it into consideration for future designs. Stay tuned for more cool keycaps to come!
