I've never had any problems with my switches being heard over mic, but maybe it just depends on the microphone being used. Still, using any other switch is hard for me to imagine rn.

I think my housemate got converted by the sound alone. He agreed that my keyboard indeed sounds way better than his.

I'm sharing an appartment with two people and all of us use clickies lol. We all hear each others keyboards, but it's not really a problem for any of us. I love the sound of clicky switches and it really is kind of calming sometimes. Like listening to a modern typewriter.

Computer keyboards aren't really something that often comes up in public. I'm sure they do exist, but it's not exactly every day you're going to find a group of keyboard enthusiasts just getting together in typing groups.
Not like photographers will hang out and take pictures together, or musicians will hang out to jam.

I have the same impressions about the wobble etc. From what I've seen Navy's are really heavy, so they're definitely not for me. They sound better than Whites though, same with Jades. What I got from a video comparing Kailh BOX clickies is that heavier switches have a deeper and imo better sound, but Whites sound amazing anyways.

Good to know Hainbach is into these kind of keyboards, also.

Same. As far as I know Whites and other clicky Kailh BOX switches differ only with the operating force, so there's a pretty wide choice for people who'd like to give them a try. Unless we're talking about v2, I've heard they come pre-lubed.

I agree with the first paragraph, but turning clickies into reds... Why would anyone want to castrate their switches :(

I think Kailh BOXes still have a ton of recognition, atleast when it comes to clicky switches. I searched for a new switch by typing questions like "Best clicky switches 2023" and 90% of reddit posts/articles included Kailh BOX switches. I'm thankful that people actually recommended them, otherwise I'd never give Kailh a try.

Why do all the stickers shorten the sub to r/mk ? When you google r/mk this sub is below the DeviantArt page and two Twitter pages for R-MK... When you click r/mk in reddit it goes to nothing.

>The PC66 is a beautiful design though too bad it's not that popular around here.
I have seen at least 6 or 7 posts with the PC66/KBt RE: while I have been here, so you just have to observe for a longer duration.
You can checkout my post if you want (it's a PC66, I just requested they include the KBt RE: badge because I liked how it looked better).
Oh and I have a Model M SSK by Vortexkeyboards ordered as well. (✿◕‿◕✿)

Do you have a video or sound test showing the problem? If it’s a notable enough engineering issue gazzew himself is likely to look into the problem.

Mazdas are often praised for their engaging driving and great driver feedback (especially for the price), plus have one of the highest percentages of manual transmission sales. Mazdas are the mechanical keyboard of the car world.
