The first Model F I bought had been silent modded. I can not believe that there is anyone who likes this. The idea of neutering the GOAT hurts my bones.

My momma always said, "Anything worth doing is worth doing right."
In all honesty I've been looking for a while because I'm cripplingly indecisive, there were too many reasons for the P1P in the end and I bit the bullet.

Now that looks very sci-fi, I love the black pcb & white plastics :)
The tilted short keycaps w the clear switches is also a rad combo

I started from cheapo no name keyboard with blue switches. Now I'm at the stage of getting keyboard from raffles. I've joined 4 raffles, and still no luck.

The only true endgame is the keyboard on your desk when you die.

As someone who had to use typewriters for work, I don't understand why people would want to use them again. It's like they're masochists or something.

GMK Stealth would look amazing on that.

those sound like the words of someone who hasn't made a topre their daily driver
buckling spring is very, very good, but topre is GOAT

Time to celebrate the no compromise layout when it comes to space saving and functionality, especially when it comes to gaming.
From the top down: Kotai Preonic Custom Silicone plate dampener Stupid fish bottom foam Painter's tape around brass weight Kailh Box White V2 GMK Mecha-01
Bottom 3: OLKB/Drop Preonic Custom Silicone Case dampener Stupid fish plate foam Kailh Glazed Green/Box White/Everglide Oreos (this one has tape mod as well) Bottom 3 are all PBT sets (mecha clone/sushi/metropolis clone)
Wish I could find more keyboard with this layout, especially in the high-end space, but it looks like the DNA59 and GK6 is about all that's out there.

Voids are hall effect too, but offer a tactile variant. The MX style one does not

Reply to comment by EazeeP in How does having screw-in stabilizers make it easier for changes and upgrades? by Jorrozz
The thing is, since the vast majority of enthusiast prefer screw in stabs, manufacturers and vendors put their effort solely into making better PCB mount stabs.
There are good offering with plate mount stabs but there aren't any plate mount stabs as good as TX stabs or Staebies.

Why? I actually like that design better, the Hall effect sensor inside means it’s actually a pressure sensitive analogue switch (like the triggers on game controllers) where you can give get a while range of values instead of a Boolean open/close.
