Thanks. I Googled KS-3 and these appear to be KS-3 Whites, which are 35g linears but not silent. (Oddly, Gateron's own webpage for the KS-3 Full Black series doesn't even list Whites as one of the available varieties.)

This is great. I hate overly-light switches (my favorite spring is 67g) and I hate linears, so now I have a set of 35g linears. Looking on the bright side, at least I won't be tempted to buy a new keyboard to put these switches into.

EDIT: Here's where I found the KS-3 Whites. And I accidentally typed "like" instead of "hate" originally.

They have the Gateron logo on the top housing. They are clearly linear. The only Gateron switch I can find online that looks like these are the Gateron Silent Clears. However, I put one into a board that otherwise has Ajazz Kiwis and these aren't any quieter than the Kiwis -- just higher pitched -- so I would consider it a stretch to call them "silent."

Hi everyone, here's a GB update for bully, a tadpole-mounted plateless 40% keyboard designed to work reasonably well with most base kit keycap sets. We still expect fulfillment to begin in late Q1/early Q2.

  • Keymap is merged into qmk_firmware main branch, while VIAL firmware, plate files and PCB edge cuts are published onto the Geekhack GB thread OP and within the pins of the #bully channel in the 40% Keyboards Discord.
  • Cases are in production. We expect that our manufacturer will complete production around late February/early March, at which point they will be shipped to CBKBD.
  • PCBs and C3 Unified Daughterboards are in production with the selected PCB manufacturer.
  • Tadpoles are currently in-hand at CBKBD. Screws are shipped out, SKUF feet are sourced, and JST cables are quoted.

There are a healthy number (but limited) number of pre-order slots remaining, for those who did not buy in during the initial unlimited preorder period. If you're interested, more info on bully is available on Geekhack or the earlier Mechmarket post. Take care, and thanks for considering this fun little board!
