They key next to it! The airport shuttle PCB doesn’t have like a dedicated pin out (if I’m using the right term) for the clicky part of the encoder so it does what the key next to it does. So when you click the encoder it works as a backspace key (which I’d rather it be mute, but oh well).

I personally use the windows key to launch programs, so I use it a ton and like where it is. I only accidentally hit it when I'm starting to fall asleep in my chair lol. I accidentally hit caps all the time but I like the idea of mapping windows to it so might give that a try

Agreed. I get the love and all but turning something simple into something more complex for the sake of minimalism is something that baffles me. I can press 1 button and get the number 1. From memory, reflex. Why would I want to turn that into a multi level/button action?
