I said before in this post: "We add more than three artists for casting jobs. Easy to have more labours but so hard to find more artists; that's why we don’t open new GB regularly like before." <== That is how I improve time for a little delay.

And 90 days is my expected time, but hard GB will delay a lot because we are casting all, some artists don't like me, they make errors, and so hard to finish one with no problem, we open new GB and no-resell them, so every new GB is a new challenge (more detail, effect and another type casting way), it not like my expected before, I think in my head is 60 days, and write for my content guy 90 days but the reality it is lower than my think, you know: I made prototype by myself and I think people will fast like me (my bad). You know, we are a really small team, not a big company like some other team, we have problems and we try to improve it, we don't need to lie or tricky, that's why I always allow people to refund when they are not happy and sorry with that, I added 3 guys for casting jobs, I hope everything is better and I hope you can understand for me, my bad English.

I take offense. LoL.

Some of my favorite sets where AliExpress kids for like 20 bucks and under we're talking double shot PBT or we're talking five-sided dyesub.

I'd argue that if you know what you're doing you can find the deals pretty much anywhere.

Amazon has excellent double shot PBT caps for 40 bucks for sets that cover every board except ergo.

I just recently got a key cap I ordered back in January and I will at least provide my experience, which was very positive. I ordered mid January, got informed mid February that it was being sent for processing within ten days. I misunderstood what this meant and reached out to the jelly key team who was very quick to respond and then individually followed up with me when I they had received my tracking number. The package arrived in a very unique package that is sitting on my desk as a display with a cool coin. All in all very positive experience and I love the design.

My one complaint, I have a blue themed key board / desk setup and my cap is red. I do wish I could have at least selected the color I would like.

Thank you! I've really been enjoying it in the first couple days of full use. Here's the exact build code if you'd like to see more of the internals with their configurator: V0C1D2C3A4B5A6B7B8B9A

No separate mods on it - I just lubed the stabs, but otherwise straight out of the kit. The factory lube on the Oil Kings is great, and I wasn't tempted to redo it. I wanted a relatively firm board, and the combo of the internal materials I picked nailed the snappy and responsive typing feel I was hoping for.

I would describe the sound as fairly thick, smooth, and muted, with a gentle higher-register clack. Somewhere between a little woody, and like little marbles clicking together. Probably 50% quieter than the MX Browns I had on my previous non-custom board. I'm pickier about typing feel than I am about sound, but even so it's a very satisfying sound profile. Hope that helps!

Just thought I'd add my thoughts to this because I've got a lot of questions:

  1. Most (if not all) of the Q series boards are gasket-mounted. Is that not the case here?
  2. How much room is there inside the keyboard for modding?
  3. The underside of the keycaps are exposed here (not sure what that's called). Is that an advantage? A disadvantage?
  4. What do you use both knobs for?
  5. Is the cord connecting the two halves long enough? Is it annoying to deal with?
  6. Is there anything special you need to do with VIA to mess with the mappings, or it it as straightforward as their other boards?
  7. How heavy is this board compared to the Q1 for example?
  8. What's the general feel of this keyboard as a split keyboard?
  9. Do you ever use only one half of the keyboard?
  10. What does your setup look like with the Q11?
  11. What are your thoughts on this being a staggered and not ortholinear layout?

Hopefully these questions aren't too late. If you do make a review would you please give a link? Thanks in advance!

Exactly. I've learned you can't rush perfection and these are TINY HAND PAINTED details lol. I understand people are upset over seeing 90 days after the GB ends but man... They, just as much as us, we have no clue what goes on IRL. I'm perfectly find with waiting as long as it gets delivered. This will be my first JellyKeys GB purchase.
