Short answer, yes

Long answer, is best that you don't, krytox is highly recommended, this lube is perfectly fine for stabs, but is a bit thick for switches and they might get stuck, if you can't buy krytox try a bit of liquid lube

I programmed the knob to zoom in and out when turned and to reset zoom when pressed. Works like a charm with macOS.

knob is a nice touch. great if it can sit at the corner of the board. but if you are getting a TKL and the knob sits where the F13 key is, it probably might feel a little out of place when you want to turn the volume up/down.

Q3... Ordered the utmost controversial angy miao compact, only because its the only board on the market with colour scheme I want ( light teal, or hatsune miku teal with "hard candy") plus its high quality build which is + for me. Got switches ready to go as well, https://prototypist.net/products/in-stock-emtv2-betty-switches-10-pack which are super smooth and thocky + diffiuser makes this a best switch I got hands on so far. ( tried around 30-40 different switches so far.)

Gonna use GMK Analog dreams instead on the custom board, but digital nightmares I will use on a 2nd build down the line ( would like a split keyboard build at some point).

Thanks! I’ll have to check out XVX as well! Yeah it did seem to have to do with the length of the stems. The vast majority of the time it’s fine, just weird sticking every once in while. I also noticed that the XDA keycaps are noticeably louder, which is compounded by the fact that I have Blue switches, lol. I’m currently looking for a job, and I might have to switch to Browns if I end up with something in-office.

Edit: typo

I found that when I tried some XDAs as well. I think where the sides of the keycaps are just a tiny bit too long they catch on the sides of the switch. That’s why the stem of low profile keycaps reach out beyond the bottom. XVX and Nuphy really seem like the only ones atm offering more variety in low profile caps. I have a set of black shine through xvx in order right now.
