I can touch type well enough to use that keyboard for normal use. Really the only tube I use my laptop keyboard is when I'm typing commands into my terminal and can't make any mistakes.

I spent 18 months trying to find decent pbt caps for my layout, and even though it's not perfect I jumped the gun. Took 6 months to arrive so I guess m hella lucky

You need to be able to touch type because it is too bright to look down.

my ePBT Timeless "only" took one year to be queued for production. but that was aug. 2022 and i am still waiting :D

Pros: warm and toasty. Soft and comfortable.

Cons: keeps getting shorter for some unknown reason.

I'm not sure if you're referring to a specific instance but, again, that's something that's between the buyer and the vendor. A decent vendor will help the customer out.

If you buy a television and the remote doesn't work you usually don't ring up Samsung but go to your retailer and have them fix it for you.

I'm using a textured PEI sheet, so the texture is quite comfortable in my opinion. If you wanted smooth you csn always use a smooth surface to print them on.

It’s not so much the perfect anything, but how they react to issues. I saw that wonky space bar, and their response was that it was fine. They just spent $100 (?) on a set, and get told that this space bar that is crooked is fine, and to suck it up.

Nobody is demanding perfection. People want to have their issues addressed and fixed.

Damn That’s a great build Mostly because it just fits an aspect of being and old school beige keyboard, but somehow it’s also a cured dwarfish relic from the past! If the keyboard is capable of changing switches, with solder or hotswap, I would recommend trying hyperglides or any black switch (heavy linear), I think it would fit this theme nicely :)
