I love the look, but i would want one more row and two more columns to make it a typing board, but for extra keys it would be awesome

Reply to To wobble or not to wobble 🤔 Flaming Goat’s review of the Gat Mink says the stem wobble is bad so I’m just wondering what are other people’s thoughts/experiences as I do love a good clacky switch but HATE stem wobble. Thanks by BadPWG
swapped my minks with long pole stems from the MMSwitch stems and yeah Relatively wobbley

I'd have to agree. I'm a power excel user so at this point I'd just go straight to a 75 GMMK Pro style design rather than keep a nerfed numpad.

Reply to GMK Norse + Iron165 R2 Graphite by undercovergangster
Right when I got into custom mechanical keyboards, I knew I wanted an Iron165. Then, I saw the GB for GMK Norse and thought to myself that it was the perfect combination. Now that Norse has finally come in, I was able to build this beauty and it is everything I could've wanted when the idea first formed in my head.
Board: Iron 165 R2 Graphite
Switches: Gateron Ink V2 Black, lubed
Keycaps: GMK Norse + RAMA Artisan + Novelties
Stabilizers: Staebies V2

Thanks. I might do that but it’s got a few rough edges I would want to fix so I’m not sure when it might happen

If you want to get individual ones to test switches out you could get a switch tester

As nice as it was, the since of accomplishment after the build was even more rewarding. And I am very pleased with the end product, both from a utilitarian standpoint and aesthetically. This is rapidly becoming my favorite build, so far (even over my U80A-SEQ2, which I have been enjoying for almost a year now).

I've had great success on 3dp sound improvement using plate foam :)

I think it’s kind of mediocre sounding but not too bad. I tend not to focus too much on sound

How does it sound? Seems to be the biggest issue I have with 3dp boards. Looks amazing though, I think you definitely chose the right color!

I'm assuming that's how they want it pronounced. All their YouTube videos are silent, but every reviewer I've seen has pronounced it like that from back when I started paying attention during the Ikki68 buy. Andy/Taeha/Betty/Alexotos/BadSeed/Clackbait/

compact keyboard with numpad are often called 96 but the proper term is the "1800 Compact" and yes there are 96 keys. :)
difference between this and the full size keyboard is on the full size there are ample space between the numpad, function keys and main keyboard whereas in the 1800 compact all of those keys are smack back stuck together to eliminate all those space.

They're all MT3 from Drop. Base is Skiidata, the orange key is from the Skiidata Accents set, and the Escape key is from the Captain America set!

Split the difference and get a Leopold FC980M or Vortex Tab 90M?

A few years ago someone made a macrobar by folding the membrane of a Cherry G86 keyboard in half. They had to do it carefully so the traces didn't break, but they ended up with a working keyboard. You might be able to do something similar, perhaps. https://deskthority.net/viewtopic.php?p=233187&sid=76253b9b87174d7a5bfc67ebe650a1d7#p233187

Looks great, where did you buy the keycaps? I can't find the sub-legend version.
