the southpaw layout is nice but the finger print reader is weird to me because side jobs just mess up your fingerprints like soldering do it makes very little sense to me besides vanity.

It's a nice layout, but i think it would be cool to shift the f row to a cluster on the left of the numpad. Edit: hopefully there's layout options for 7u spacebar, split backspace and stepped capslock

Also hate that the sub is called customkeyboards. In relation to the rest of the hobby, the customization is mid. So many people are doing crazy 3d printed and even hand wired builds. Those are custom imo. r/customkeyboards should be r/bougiekeyboards or something.

Good. Good. Keep going. Soon they’ll be stacked and in the closet to make room for the rest. Don’t question yourself even if you one day find it hard to walk through the room because of stacks of unused switches and keycaps. It will all be fine. Trust me. I’ve done the math.

Just go look at r/customkeyboards rules about no plastic

>No Plastic - Expensive plastic (polycarb customs, Korean plastic customs) are acceptable, as is OG plastic, but plastic kits from Taobao/Aliexpress/Amazon/etc. are not.

Lol weirdest elitism, no plastic unless its this specific plastic!

>silent switch boards sounds mushy

well...they kinda are

when you bottom out a silent switch you hit silicone dampeners. Which obviously would feel and sound mushier than just bottoming out on a solid material
