I own both the wowstick and ifixit toolkit and while the wowstick is awesome. It’s excessive unless you’re building a lot of keyboards

There are commonly text mods, icon mods, and icon + text mods.

Since icons appear with icon only and icon + text, you’re not always going to only find icon only in a keyword search for icons.

Icon mods

It’s a WowStick, usually the 1F+. You can find it on Amazon and locally. I bought mine from a local shop.

There’s a cheaper version, WowStick Try, which uses regular AAA batteries and has fewer bits for around 35€. I don’t think it has hex bits, though, which are used by a lot of mid-tier and high-end boards.

Might depend on the manufacturer, IIRC with pbtfans keycaps the icon base set is called "simple base"

I bought a random one off Amazon that has been doing the job just fine. I didn't want to drop the money on a branded WoWstick and I have an iFixIt kit for all the bits I need.

Any issues with the Epomaker driver and/or software? I remember hearing rumors that it contained a virus.

Gotta say I like the look of the board. Not a fan of Evangelion though.

Expensive but worth it if you're going to use it a lot.

The WowStick drill version is very popular in the mini painting hobby, too. Though, I just use the Dremel stylo or whatever the small hobby tool is and it works just fine.
