Hi r/mk,

Peter here from Unicorn Cables, based in Slovenia, Europe, since 2020!

Today we are sharing a GMK MoDo2 non-coiled cable with a matching YC8 detachable connector.

If you wish to support us, you can customize your cable here (to achieve the same cable, select Modern Dolch cable theme and Light Green YC8): https://unicorncables.com/store/custom-straight-cable-yc8/

If you prefer a coiled cable, have a look here:

In addition to the newly added cable, we are also running a GB/Pre-Order for cables with black LEMO® connector - limited quantity remaining! Expected to ship in December 2022.

Thank you for your support and in case you have any questions or need help with customizing the cable, please do not hesitate to reach out!

Beautiful! I'm so tempted to get low profile keycaps and switches for my BM40 as I love the way it looks and will probably love the way it feels, but I know I'll be absolutely useless at typing any special characters on it so I'm resisting the draw.

I tried blank keycaps on it for the aesthetic and immediately regretted it as I found it impossible to memorise even a basic 3-layer setup after a few weeks of forcing myself to struggle with it while I waited for the labeled replacement keycaps to arrive.

This should have a promotional flair, as all your posts are promoting your business (rule 4). It's actually in your own interest to do this, because if people know it's promoting your products they will be more likely to click on your profile to get your website address and order one from you. It also means you can include a company logo or URL in the image etc.

Actually trying to help you here, not be an ass. Your work looks quality.

Mmm ok one thing I forgot to mention tho is that switch attributes rather little to sound, sound quality mainly comes from the keeb case and plate. While switches impact this, I don’t think it is as important as the keeb itself. I also want to say it is going to be difficult chasing a ‘creamy’ sound with a brass plate- look more towards Pom
