UNS 20C (2ish gallons) ONF light and stand, planted tank with small starter colony of Orange Eye Blue Tigers with Rust gene (red color) that I’m crossing with blue bolt caridina and shadow mosuras :) I have a 30C (8ish gallon) planted tank with a colony of red pintos that I’m breeding for galaxy pattern that is just out of frame. And a 50G reef tank behind me! The little 2g was my first foray into planted tanks after years of having fresh and saltwater setups

Clean. The white setup I idolize but will never go with (dark setup here). There's something about how clean and bright it looks. GMK Fox was my go to set if I ever managed to get a white botanical desk mat. You have my upvote.

LTs easy to summarise. Sound is good but even after lubing is not very smooth. If you're looking for alpaca levels of smoothness, look elsewhere.

This looks amazing. I can't find any case with a top accent like that. Where did you pick this up at?

You should be able to unscrew them from each other by twisting in opposite directions like a nut and bolt.

Mode65 e-white with brass accent + GMK Fox

Nothing fancy, but this was one of my most looked forward to combinations when I joined the community and was planning my "end game" builds. With GMK Fox shipping it has been completed. I'm only sad that my photography skills are lacking and does the set no justice.

This is at least 40% of my time lubing/modding switches. Bag lubing does save some time but it’s eaten up by how many end up like this.

I've tried the LTs before and I think that if you're looking for some linear long pole goodness, I would steer towards getting Prevail Nebulas instead. I don't really think it's fair game to compare the LTs to the Alpacas and Lavenders just because the long pole makes a pretty fair difference in feeling.

Then the struggle of untangling them with your tweezers and then one slips and flings off somewhere. Such a pain
