It is in our nature to collect things. There are people that collect guitars, cars, legos, card games, designer bags, and the list goes on. There is nothing wrong with spending money on the things you want to spend your money on.

Nah I disagree. Over 10 years of building keyboards and you only get to build them once, then they’re built. I’ve also built at least 4 different full sound systems that are in my loft, maybe 50 odd guitar stomp boxes and a handful of synths. just like building electronics.

I'm a semi newbie in this so excuse my ignorance here. But I noticed the switches have names like "baby" kangaroos. Are these a smaller switch? Would this board be compatible with something like the Alpacca V2s?

Alice style is my new favorite. All I want is a hotswap, mechanical, Alice board with dedicated F and tilde keys.

I have BBK on my other keyboard, and I am pleasantly surprised by the RG in my first experience using them for office-type work.

The Halo series has better build quality than the Air series, in my opinion, but the Air is ultimately more portable due to trading off a smaller battery for total package weight.

You'll have more options with modding the Halo because it's more straightforward to take apart than the Air. The Halo has better switches IMO and sounds better, too out of the box if that's your thing.
