I’ve tried everything that is main stream and the best one I found that is most consistent is holee mod with Durock, as Durock has such high tolerance that it doesn’t become mushy after holee

It’s a macro pad with alphas keycaps on it. I’m sure with enough dedication you could learn to use it with layers but it’s not intended to be a full keyboard.

PCBs are pretty cheap though. You could probably find 4 people to cover the cost of the others. Finding someone that 3D prints or has a laser cutter wouldn’t be too difficult either.
