I don't get staggered split at all. Reaching B or Q on your left hand would strain the fingers. In fact, even the curl downwards and slightly to the side on any finger is terrible unless you angle your hands so even when split to shoulder length, the keyboard needs to be angled weirdly.

How long did it take you to build?

Great - now you can identify which of the Alps variants you've got. Some Canons had the "complicated" Alps SKCL/M that are still loved now - others had curiosities like the double-action switch or the integrated dome switch that has a little rubber dome inside the switch body. If the sliders are coloured rather than black or white, they're probably one of the better switches.

Oh yes, the other thing I could have mentioned is code pages - the predecessors to Unicode, specific to a language or an area. Japanese had two or three, and eventually they worked out a way of switching between them automatically... but the way they found breaks Unicode, so old web pages written for Shift-JIS can go strange if the browser thinks they're in Unicode!

it's from kontron, might be model kbd 1.1a, i think from first half of '80. PS: i'ts mechanical! I would like to know more about it, and if, in any way the parallel port (or kind of) can be converted to ps or usb interface

Google isn't the only search engine, you know ;) Try Qwant.com or start.duckduckgo.com, or pick a Searx implementation to combine multiple engines.

Chorded layers take care of everything that doesn't have a designated key.

this board has gone on preorder and i just discovered that Akko is offering a special cooperation.

I'm especially interested in the opinion of you comparing this board to a MOD007s, Q1 Knob, GMMK Pro.

Has anyone experience with the board as some south asian people seem already have gotten their hands on it.
How is the quality, how are the stabilizers compared to the ones from Akko (with come as an addon when purchasing from Akko).
