Website says it's Krytox GPL 205G0. It might look a bit lumpy because I've been picking blobs of lube out of it with my brush to apply

The beauty of the Planck is it’s so light and portable, I can just stick it in my purse and go. I am never without my precious ortholinear layout. :þ

But going off what other people have said, it’s not too bad switching between ortho and staggered, so long as you practice your staggered very occasionally. It’s like your brain is able to retain both forms of muscle memory. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Ah the first timer’s premature lubing. I know it’s really exciting but you have to get her… its bottom housing off first.

OK, here is a different question! If I'll let you type a paragraph on a different keyboard (Say... regular one you use at a library or a leptop one) how hard is it for you to switch after you got used to it? hahaha

By far the hardest adjustment period is just getting used to ortholinear itself.

That took me about a month or so. I completely relearned how to touch type.

After that I played around with different ideas until I settled on this keymap, which I find pretty effortless. (Only one layer to remember.) Took me a few days to adjust to this current version, and I’ve been using it now for almost a year.

The Planck V6 in Acrylic. The PCB supports underglow, and comes with a bunch of preset gradients, which is pretty nifty. :þ

Seems like a fair amount. Don't forget to lube the other pin as well 🙈

Got the black one myself a few weeks ago. First mechanical for me as well. I'm liking it!

Got some o rings and tape mod. Was nice to see foam already inside. (earlier versions shipped without it I believe)

PS. Flip the cover to remove logo in 2 seconds. :P

How hard is it to get used to that layout? I feel like my fingers wouldn't find their way if you get what I'm saying.
