Agree, awesome caps. It took me a bit to get used to the Alice layout, but it wasn't a major adjustment. After using it for some time, I think I slightly prefer it over a standard layout.

I prefer Cheery for longer-time typing. It is a bit more ergo with sculpture, and I also find myself making more mistakes with XDA as the keys are closer. XDA is very nice-looking though.

The numpad is my one must-have item on a keyboard.

That being said, I found out I don't need an 1800 to get it.
I have one in the middle of my 60% ortho board, on top of the right alphas.

What are your general thoughts? I put an order in for a QK75 to replace my home keyboard, but am looking at cheaper 75/80’s to replace my work keyboard. The Tiger Lite seems an optimal choice at its price point.

I just bought the barebones Q5 kit for my next work build! Numpad is a must for the office and I wholly appreciate and approve. I feel like my red samurai keycap set is a little too loud for the office but I think that keycap set is *chefs kiss* Would be proud to rock that in my cubicle.

What were your shipping times like out of interest? Very pleased to hear it feels good quality! I do love a media knob...

my mechanical keyboard is boring black body with boring(?) beige keycaps aka IBM keycaps. only weird part is this is southpaw keyboard where numpad and cursor keys are all moved to the left. 😂

I agree. I broke two Logitech and one Dell sh!tty keyboard the company gave me and after broke them had the IT department to source me the southpaw mechanical keyboard as part of OHS policy. 😂

My S/O loves her XDA. And I cannot type on them to save my Life. On the other hand she hates my SA caps. So you just have to figure what you like.

Well said bro. This build was definitely more for function. So while editing, it’s a lot easier for me to punch in numbers repetitively with a numpad rather than the top row of numbers. But when I’m gaming, I swap over to the 75%.

Much appreciated! I was blown away at the quality for an out of the box build.

I currently use a 65 percent plus a macropad that acts as a numpad on the default layer. I do however find myself reaching over to the regular numpad quite often by accident, because at work I use a full sized retro cherry ATK.

To me if you use a numpad then it's function over looks. It's a keyboard afterall and no one but you should care which looks better.

I ordered one of these the other day so I'm very excited as yours looks beautiful!

Go light, and you should be good! I use SuperLube all the time and it works fine to me, be sure that don't lube too thick on it
