Looking forward to it! I need to find more affordable keycaps and switches to be able to make some of the keyboards you’ve done.

I need three: one to sit on, one to look at while writing and the actual thing for the typing stuff.

This is a neat aesthetic. I really dig it. It's reminiscent of an old school library with a highbacked overstuffed chair and a fireplace.

- The P key is backspace as I use Colemak layout I can rebind it.
- This is known as a “column stagger split monoblock”. It is very comfortable as your wrists sit at a better angle along with the keys following the natural differences of your fingers.
- It’s the standard thickness of any board, about 21mm for the case then keycaps on top of that. The controller is mounted into a recessed section in the case then the keys go right on top, haven’t had any issues doing it that way yet.
If you do build one, share photos over in /r/handwiredkeyboards and/or send photos to me, I love seeing when people build the things I design.

Looks great! Fancy photos are always nice.
Checked out the video and I have a couple questions:
Which keys do you use as spacebar and backspace? I saw the typing test and you using the 3 key as a spacebar but I couldn't figure out what you used as a backspace key. Also, do the numbered keycaps actually type numbers, I assume not, but what do they actually represent on your layout?
I have seen grid (?) layouts before on 40% keyboards, but this seems to be another take on it. Do you think it's nicer to type on than a grid layout?
And finally, how thick is this keyboard? On the wiring picture in the video it seems that part doesn't take up too much space, but in the final build the controller doesn't stick out. I assume you put it under some of the keys, but does that make it really thick or is it fine?

Anyways, the board looks really nice! It's a really unique looking board and design. If I can get myself to try your handwiring methods I might try and build it myself, who knows.

The board is the ScottoFly. It’s a handwired board that I designed and released free for anyone to build. This version of it uses Lil’ Tyke linears lubed with 205G0 and filmed with Deskeys switch films. This photo is part of an upcoming video I have on tiny keyboards.
I like making videos on these boards and have one specifically for this one which showcases what I think is the best sounding 3D printed board.

Sadly it’s a kit so I don’t think you can buy the keycaps separately.
