I listen to extreme music. Maybe it's the mania or the ADHD but I love busy, cacophonous, loud, chaotic music. If music is repetitive or predictable I have a problem of tuning it out, but with busy music, it commands my attention and I'm absorbed in the experience.

I listen to artists like Aphex Twin, the Algorithm, Daughters, Tipper, Spoonbill, Admiral Angry, Jute Gyte, Frontierer, Death Grips, Endon, Meshuggah, Frank Zappa, Venetian Snares, Dir En Grey, Merzbow, Dillinger Escape, Masonna, Swans, et cetera. I love big, textured "wall-of-sound" music especially (some good examples are the albums "Sunbather" by Deafheaven and "Alien" by Strapping Young Lad).

It's been YEARS since I've found anything that's hit the switch for me like the above named artists have, and I'm desperate to find anything new... I obviously love metal, but I'm not into conventional stuff anymore. I listened to death core, metal core, death metal, et cetera when I was in high school and it just doesn't hit the switch anymore, so while I still appreciate Cannibal Corpse, Nile, Vader, Suffocation, et cetera it isn't what I'm looking for here. I'm looking for things that are more experimental, signature, or unique. The heavier and more discordant, the better.

I'd love to hear more jazz as well, so if you have any extremely sporadic albums or artists let me know. Jazz is one of those things I love almost every time I hear it, but don't know where to begin looking for what it is I'm after.
