I mean I feel like that song heavily relies on the chorus.

The verse is a really good melody, the lyrics are nonsense

Honestly a lot of popular songs could answer this question.

First verse is weak. Second verse is heartbreaking though. The third is better than the first; overall I agree.

I have the opposite issue with a certain well beloved song, so this opinion will probably give me a lot of downvotes, but I really don't like the chorus in Pink Floyd's Comfortably Numb.
I like the verses and the lead guitar sections, but find the chorus so cheesy and sugary with its major chords and '80s sounding synth.

I like the verses to You're So Vain and they were crucial in the game of trying to figure out who the song was about!

Africa by Toto. The lyrics in the verses are nonsensical word salad but thr chorus redeems it making the song a complete earworm.

Stop spam uploading stuff your friends like. No one cares, post new artists and help get traction under their feet.

The vast majority of the artists Apple recommends to me I have never heard of. So I listen to the first 20 seconds of the track. Then jump forward a bit. If I like it I add to my library then explore the artists albums. If I don’t like the track I’ll skip to the next one. It’s a great way to discover new stuff. For example folk music. I know Bob Dylan and maybe one other artist. The auto play introduced me to all kinds of folk music by artists that were never big. I do the same thing with hip hop/rock/techno/tyc

Maybe let’s not refer to things as “gay”
It’s 2023, let’s move on from derogatory terms

Virtually every contemporary pop song. They’re all full of nonsensical versus and are built strictly on a catchy hook or chorus
