Back in college, The Smiths filled this role for me. It was a boomerang effect - Morrisey was SUCH an over-the-top mope that it couldn't help but shake me out of it.

Not quite what you asked for, but this song helped me get through my divorce. There's a bit of sadness in it, but also a bit of hope for the future.

Sorry for what you're going through.
The Cure is your friend here. Try their song A Night Like This, from their nearly perfect album Head on the Door.

I saw the movie in the early 80’s when I was 9 or 10, and this music lodged itself in my head.
Ennio Morricone’s stuff for Once Upon a Time in America is another one
Also the incidental music for Watership Down

“Excuse me sir.” “What is it Roland?” “I have a call from America, sir. A request to join Sir Robert and Sir John to record a song together.” “Bloody hell! I told you Roland, don’t bring that rubbish to me.” “But sir?” “What Roland!” “The request came from Dolly Parton.” “Her people called?” “No sir, Ms. Parton herself. She seems quite persistent.” A silent pause went through the Page study. Photographs of days gone by seem to turn their gaze to the septuagenarian guitarist. He looks down on his hands. Without telling them to move, the fingers start to exercise the same way they have for the past sixty plus years. They are telling him…one more. “Call Dolly back. No wait, I’ll call her. I’m in.”

On a cold and raining day I like to listen to music that feels like a warm shelter to me and (I don't know why, maybe too much Witcher III) medieval taverns, so I would listen to Destiny by Trobar de Morte or Under a violet moon by Blackmore's Night
