Man, I haven’t seen anyone recommend The Sounds in a hot minute. Definitely one of the best live shows I’ve ever been to.

SR71 originally. They decided it "sounded more like a Bowling for Soup song" and gifted it to them, becoming one of their biggest hits.
Bowling for Soup has a new-ish song out not called "Getting old Sucks (but everybody's doing it)" that does seem like a fitting follow up to this though.

The LP Cycledelic by Johnny Moped had a hidden track parallel to the first song on the A-side. Depending on where the needle hit the record you’d hear V.D.Boiler or the mystery track.

Here's a delicious one:

The band is Maximum the Hormone. Japanese Hardcore band. Excellent sense of groove. Also, very sarcastic-sounding. Also, they have a knack for throwing super catchy melody into the mix at unexpected times.
Great for hype.
And a bonus is that the girl who plays the drums also often sings really well while she's blasting out really tight hardcore drum parts. Something to be really impressed about.

slipknot does that a lot, the solos and riffs will occasionally switch between jim and mick. if i recall correctly, psychosocial has a solo from jim and scream has a solo from mick

Black Midi, they are unlike anything out there in the current music landscape. They are so impressive as a young band. Check out any of their three albums Schlogenheim, Cavalcade, and Hellfire

Halestorm is one of my favourites, they've got lots of "hype you up" songs in my opinion.
