Calling it now. Originally prepared for ballet dancers and an orchestra, this album will be panned by die-hard Daft Punk fans but receive positive reviews from most music critics and publications

Does anyone actually believe he's walking away from music forever though? Once the baby rush is over he'll probably make/release more music, just not under the P!ATD name.

This has been coming for a while. Panic! broke up a while ago, this is just Brenden Urie saying he’s dropping the band name and using his own.

How does a solo project break up? The band has been Urie only for a while now and a revolving cast of touring musicians.

Respect your opinion and you’re entitled to it. I actually think it’s my favorite listen of theirs, especially when paired with interstellar 5555.
But… it’s layered with samples that lay the ground work for most of the songs in their foundations. Including one on one more time that they pretty much refuse to claim is a sample. In fact, the artist behind the song that was sampled hasn’t seen a dime in royalties.
While the album is a beautiful, conceptual work of art and has earned its position in music history, they’re kinda assholes about how they made it, and some of the songs are just Melodies built on stacks of old disco samples.
I can’t give an album like that best album of all time. The only exception being Endtroducing by DJ shadow, but even in that case, he handles samples like Mozart.

Yeah, it’s not hard to see either of them without helmets, but it’s especially easy with Thomas. He’s married to a fairly prominent French actress who is a dead giveaway for him to be seen in public without a helmet. If paparazzi know what she looks like, then the tall french man she’s with is definitely him. He’s also made public appearances at film festivals with her without the mask.
Guy Manuel is a LITTLE harder to find pictures of. He seems to be the much less seen, and much less known about between the two.

100% agree. Pretty Odd was and is absolutely fantastic. Fever was great too, but has aged worse than pretty odd. Everything else is ass garbage imo

nine inch nails may be and has been a band at times but it has always been Reznors vehicle so no I don’t think this is like that at all. secondly…well, I won’t say the second part but you all know.
