When I was a teenager I had a bath every night. I would listen to the Bends one night, then ok Computer the next, then kid a the night after. I repeated that for about three years. They are all incredible. I genuinely think that I could sing and play every note from those albums from memory.

There are so many songs that make me feel like I've ascended out of my body, particularly Basso Profundo Orthodox chants...Maybe that's a bit too niche lol, but "We Bow Down Before Your Cross" is incredible and makes me feel like I'm floating.

As for more conventional songs, Bestrafe Mich by Rammstein gets me grooving every single time. No matter how many other songs I discover and love, this one remains my favourite. Tied with that one is TOOL's Wings For Marie - It gives me incredible chills, and was perhaps the first song I ever heard that I felt truly changed me as a person somehow.

Strangely, Cannonball was Tonya Donelly era Breeders and Donelly formed Belly after leaving due to Kim and Kelly's (Deal sisters, Kim was former bassist for the Pixies) addiction issues. She was in step-sister Kristen Hirsh's band Throwing Muses before that. Always thought she had a lovely voice, but didn't really keep up when she dropped off the map to raise kids. I know there was a Belly reunion a few years back, but I missed it.
