Amazing music in all respects but Tony Levin on bass seals it for me.

There's a lot of people saying "yeah it's cool bro, your money your choice" but coming at it as someone who listens to vinyl;
Fuck off. Prices are already sky-high, if you aren't going to be listening to it, then you're just artificially pushing the price up so you can put it on a shelf. Go buy the CD, buy some merch, buy some tickets, do something with utility, don't blindly consume just because you like the aesthetic. Leave it for someone who will use the record for its intended purpose.
And yes, I take the same view with every "collectable".

I listened a little this morning. I hadn’t heard of him. It was interesting to read about his story. I like the music on this album, too

Soul Gravy - Cross Canadian Ragweed. Probably not as known here but IMO, every song on that was a banger

Kelly Clarkson performing Piece by Piece on American Idol. Extremely emotional performance, you can tell the song means alot to her. She barely makes it through

Why does it matter that he didn't play any instruments? There are tons of singers that don't. I know his voice is different but I actually like it because of how unique it is. I see that as the biggest complaint of the album on reddit, but I don't think it's bad at all.

One day I got a call from my friend who is a nurse. He was in tears and distraught because a patient of his coded and passed away. The gentlemen who passed away was in his 50s and his wife witnessed the code in the room. Later that evening my friend and I went to a small little dive bar, not far from the hospital, that we frequent that does karaoke. We were talking everything out when my friend says that the wife walked in to the bar. She went up to sing right away. The room itself froze. It was an ice cold timeless feeling. Then the opening of “At Last” by Ella Fitzgerald swelled up. Both my friend and I could feel the energy in the room sink. Then this poor woman started to sing. We both started to instantly tear sitting at the bar. We couldn’t face her. Her voice was beyond heart broken. (I’m crying now thinking about it.) When she started the second At last we both sort of silently agreed that we can not be here right now. We finished listening to her sing from the lobby, and then called it quits. I’ve never felt emotion in a room like that before and I have yet to again.

Literally just use it. I had the same problem for years and years. Solved itself with a little conscious effort to use it more. If it's more sore than the rest of your fingers that's good. Now it's actually a power player on my fret hand. Work on getting a clean pinky to _____ trill with all 3 fingers you're used to using. Don't like focus on that, but every once in a while after you've started using it more check back in and be impressed by the progress you didnt even realize you were making.

Sufjan Stevens - Illinois.
Don't get me wrong, I still think the album's great even after having heard it 80 times. But the thrill of hearing the first few tracks and then realizing I was in for a 74-minute double-album experience with that consistent level of quality was amazing.
