Born in 99, so as a member of the youtube generation I pretty much had access to "all of music" from the get go.
It's obvious but also interesting how "time-locked" everyones favorites' are when they are say 10+ years older than me.

It's not a bad album per se, but I think they were trying to do too much at that time. Huge boom in popularity from Joy as an Act of Resistance, lots of touring, then going right into Ultra Mono. Maybe it's just me, but it felt rushed.

Southeastern by Jason Isbell. I was doing something around the house the first time I heard it and it just stopped me in my tracks

I’m going to purposefully exclude Pink Floyd here, so I will say Gary Numan The Pleasure Principle.

I love ultra mono and this is the first time I've heard people have a problem with it. But imo they have no bad albums.

I really enjoy the Civ VI soundtrack, as well as Humankind. Are you psyched for Civ VII?

Its funny when I started playing bass, I had a wart on the inside of my ring finger, right on the joint. It made me use my pinky ALL the time for the first year of playing or so.
Anyway, as far as advice? Do octaves up and down the neck, alternating Index-Ring, then Middle-Pinky. That should help build some muscle memory in that lil pinky of yours. Good luck!
