I play the violin and broke my left wrist, and didn't want to lose my finger strength. My OT had a tool to individually strengthen each finger, basically little buttons to push down and you could get versions that were increasingly difficult to move the button. I bet you could find those, sorry don't know what they're called. But a lot easier to use throughout the day than a whole guitar.

Then you Sir/Madam have great taste!

honestly any QOTSA album will deliver, self titled and Rated R are great, maybe a little raw, SFTD is perfection, and each album after gets a little weaker for me, but are still great albums.

At 11-12 I was just starting to really get into music, so I'm not sure I had a favorite album at the time. I turned 12 in 1991, so if I had to pick a favorite from that time it probably was either Nirvana's Nevermind or Pearl Jam's Ten. I really wasn't a fan of '80s hair bands, so those bands were a breath of fresh air. I suppose Metallica's "The Black Album" was up there as well. It's crazy that all 3 albums were released within like a month and a half period.
