One of my favorite drum pieces is textbook mastery in restraint by some guy named Mick Fleetwood, evoking a most captivating magic as heard within a song titled, "Brown Eyes."
As for bass, one (among dozens) I love to introduce to impassioned listeners is in "Planet Home" by Jamiroquai.

I love the harp as well. Autoharp too.

Idr whether credits go to John Paul Jones or Jimmy Page on the recording of "Hey, Hey, What Can I Do?" but that is some proper sweet mandolin!
One of my absolute top-tier piano Me-melters is amidst "Monkey Man" -- which forever I assumed was Ian Stewart, but recently I was told was Nicky Hopkins.
Fwiw, before he became a Stone, Ron Wood played several mean mandolin with Rod Stewart and the Faces.

Glass armonica, hang drum, and Cristal Baschet all have really neat sounds.

Check out "glass armonica". It's a pretty cool instrument if you haven't heard one before.

Vibraphone always sounds amazing, but lately, I've been digging this electric Kalimba with built in effects..

If you want a cool sounding instrument thar stands out, think of bass or drums

There are a lot to appreciate. In fact, I can think of very few instruments I don’t like. I love the piano because it has so much range. My darkhorse pick is the mandolin. Something about it reaches my DNA.

When I'm feeling down, I often listen to music that I would never choose to listen to, just so I can kinda laugh at myself listening to it but also enjoying it on a non-deep level if you know what I mean?
Like I love my heavy shit n rock but seriously if you're feeling down, bang out some Erasure or something like Safety Dance by Men Without Hats that'll spin you out of the down vibe.
Again, you don't have to like it, just laugh at it

I don't know why exactly, but listening to Perpetual Groove really helps my mood. It's like a good story told through music, and the music is so rich and layered. Let me know if you like it!

Maybe you should work with both so that it will be easier to train both at the the same time
