Let’s dance to Joy Division - Wombats. It’s not very subtle but it’s definitely a shout out

Also, the intro to Hotel California on the Hell Freezes Over album by Eagles.
Some Lindsey Buckingham stuff is in the mix
Dimes solo on Mouth For War is wild, but the one on Domination? Its crazy. Got to watch him do it from about 6' away and the shit was so hard that when he pulled it off note for note he looked like he won the Super bowl. Geeked beyond all reason, the dudes smile was unstoppable

I'm not the biggest fan of Deftones, but they've inspired some truly top notch bands I really love, particularly Loathe.

Taylor Swift gave a shout out to Janet Jackson in her song "Snow on the beach" when she says "Now I'm all for you like Janet, can this be a real thing can it?"

No actually this information only deepens the mystery.
Tool is too slow but AIC isn't? Tool too edgy but SOAD isn't?
Hmmm.

It’s not a happy ending for the prostitute, but I am in love with “Street Hassle” by Lou Reed.

Cult Of Personality, Vernon Reid
Since I've Been Loving You, Jimmy Page
That dude Robbie Blunt on Big Log by Robert Plant
Life Without You, Stevie Ray Vaughan on the In Step album. This is why he's the 3rd greatest guitarist ever. Also he did the solo for Bowie's China Girl.

Although, I do find it funny someone decided on sticky biscuits as a band name haha

I’ve thought about the name change a lot.
So it’s not a standard name, it’s an abstract spelling of an already not so standard name - it’s quite specific…. so I would need to change the whole thing all together and have yet to come up with a good alternative.
The other thing that just grinds my gears about it is that if I switch my name, I have to do all the backend work that comes with that (llc, rights, distributor, branding, etc).
I want to be optimistic about a name change, it is just a lot of work and re-branding when I’ve yet to even land on something else I like. Im not entirely opposed, I just don’t see a different name clearly for me.
