Seriously, the fuss over this is just stupid.

I'm not a Smith fan by any stretch but they haven't done anything with their video that others haven't done before without getting shit for it.

People aren't offended by the "raunchy" aspects, they're offended by the message and generally by people who don't fit their traditional gender, sexuality and body-shape templates. Lizzo gets similar treatment. It's immature and tedious.

So what, you're limiting your pool of "musicians" to modern musicians you've heard give interviews? No classical/broadway/film composers? No jazz or classical instrumentalists? No dead musicians?

At the very least go listen to some interviews of modern greats like Sondheim or Bernstein talking music theory/composition/conducting/etc, because they definitely don't come across as unintelligent lol.
